Oh, I'm almost laughing to hard to type. I was curious about the colored dots next to each user name so I rolled the cursor over them. Blue ones say offline, green ones say online and red says invisible. I rolled over my own and it said, "CrewChief is invisible." I always wanted a super power....

As a user, you can control whether others know you are currently online viewing the Boards. Go to User Profile - Edit Options. There are some choices under Privacy and Signtature.
I have mixed feelings about it. Most the boards I'm on have that feature, which is handy if Chat is enabled. On the other hand, many of us leave a computer up 24 hours a day and may be "on" a site seemingly for hours simply because we neglected to close the Browser window. So the statistic doesn't necessarily mean much (unless it's tracking cursur movement and knows if you are actively on the site or just logged in with a window open).
OK, It took a while because this new version is so fun but I found something I'm not so crazy about. When you click on someone's name, you're taken to their profile. On that screen it shows their total number of posts and their average per day. I get sort of a creepy, living in a fish bowl kind of feeling from that average per day number. I know, admitting you have a problem is the first step toward recovery but I'm just not ready for a 12 step program yet. Denial works just fine for me right now.

Thanks JHB! My birthday isn't even until June. I'm just playing around. At my age, every birthday is a surprise! My 13 year old son, who likes to make me feel old says, "20s are cool, 30s/40s are boring, 50s/60s are old and anything after 70 is just lucky." So, I figure I'd better get in all German Chocolate cake I can!
Tim, no worries friend. Someone has to work to pay the bills around here. We'll save a piece of cake for you....
