I have dealt with some really unhappy people today. My work is collecting school taxes and I know no one wants to pay them, but I am only the middle person and I can't change anything. So to help turn my day around, I want to help with the bar and have some fun!
So what does everyone want to drink and play on the jukebox?
Well, I didn't need my duct tape last night because some other parents asked all the questions I had in my mind. It's going to be a tough year and I'm feeling sorry for the new Prez. She's so enthusiastic and she was handed some real tough things to deal with this year. My husband attended for the first time in many years and he was pretty pissed about some of the stuff. It takes a lot to get him riled so I may have to take some Michelobs to go! We'll all get through it tho, right?! Well, hate to run so quickly but I have to earn my keep here at work. Just got home from being at school all day where we had our book fair going on, fundraising orders due and our school store is open today. We are short volunteers and not sure what will happen with some events....always same ones stuff like that...great group but we are all feeling it i think! Maybe its the full moon bringing out the "best" of us...ha ha ha I am all for your mom's chicken too....Dont worry be happy....

I don't know what I need-maybe a vacation somewhere far away, but I am feeling soooo down today. I think I need some happy music on the juke box and plate of my mom's fried chicken! It's way too early in the year to be lacking in enthusiam. I think I might have too much going on so I KNOW I've come to the right place to find understanding souls. Tonight is our first meeting and I'm thinking of duct taping my mouth shut so I don't commit to anything else or piss anybody off. I should have a positive attitude because the new Prez really seems like she is going to be great for the group. Gotta perk up-maybe the meeting will get me going again. Is "Don't Worry Be Happy" on the karoake machine? Anybody want to join me in a round?
