OR...we could have a "Big Brother" of PTO/A. That's it. We'll get all the people on these boards to go and then get the people who THINK they can run a PTO/A and let there be challenges and vote offs. Except this one has to take place in a school w/o all the frills of the actuall show...
One reward could be to have more than 10 people show up and support the PTO meetings.....ha!
d - if you get a gardener then I want a pool boy. Oh yeah, and a pool too.....
Well, everyone knows that cobblers are square. Thank heavens your husband saved you from the horrible embarrassment of taking a round one to the party.
I don't know about a business, but I think I have the best Apprentice season idea - PTO vs PTA. Is everyone with me? LMAO

Block party was great...typical americana...water balloon fights, wiffle ball, touch football and then fireworks like I've never seen at a private home. The guy orders them with his boss through a distro center that can only sell to businesses. They were like real ones that you'd see at a park. Only problem was we were looking straight up the whole time cause we were sitting right on top of them.
P. Salad was good but I missed cleaning one potato well so everyonce in a while you got that icky grind. Probably no one else noticed (I hope) and the cobbler was GREAT only Steve would let me take it because it was in a round container and he said it was supposed to be in a square one. I think he just wanted it for lunch (which is what he got today along with bbque chicken.
We always did salt peanuts in Dr. Pepper bottles in Charlotte NC and Bluefield WVa. Just another take on things I guess!
I don't know for the businnss but I can do the word stuff...as long as it pays well. Every time I pull weeds I remind myself that I was supposed to be rich and have a gardener by now....

dlf - how'd the block party go? Any leftover potato salad or cobbler?
PTOCES - my son loves Coke from the 8oz glass bottles. The first time he had it we were living in North Carolina. He was on a kindergarten field trip. They toured the town's main street businesses and stopped at the local diner for lunch. Ever since then, he flips out whenever he sees little Coke bottles! Yes, we're going through TN and right around Nashville. We'll watch for the construction.
So, what should our business be?

We don't have to have a PTo based business! It could be anything. Heck w/ D's creativeness, Shawn's prior experience, my southern hospitality ( soon to be your's too CC), and everyone else's great ideas and talents we could make a fortune.
And CC- must be salted planters peanuts. Never tried it in diet coke. Just recently started drinking diet dr pepper...grew up on RC Cola's and Moon Pies and peanuts in a 8oz glass bottle of Coke from a country store.
Life was so easy back then........
CC when you pass thru TN ( I am assuming you are going to ) enjoy the view. It's a great place. Be careful in Nashville. LOTS of road construction.
Ha CC--my husband who sees how much time I spend on the computer, think EXACTLY the same thing you do. As to the internet business for PTOs...I think we are currently using it right Tim?
We've got a block party and fire works at 5 to attend so I'm making roasted red potato salad and peach cobbler but it is so BLINKIN HOT around here. YUK--I can't even get the muster to take the kids to the pool we watching. My girlfriend went to the beach so we got custody of her house and her pool. As my hubby and I sat there yesterday drinking a beer poolside we laughed how others spend 3500 dollars and drive 300 miles to get sand in their butts and he and I could have literally moved into their place for the week and left before the cleaning team comes tomorrow. Drive is just up the street, pool is open 24 hours and we don't have to do laundry....HA...
Okay guys--say a prayer for the soldiers, marines, airmen/women, sailors and coast guard folks today...and don't forget to think about their families. I think my attendance at the first Iraq party was harder on my hubby than on me!...well except 127 is just miserable no matter where you are .
