Speaking of floride- does anyone's dr. prescribe floride drops for the rugrats? Our's did, but I stopped giving it to them- my fnp galpal warned me about florosis (white spots on the teeth).

Shawn- we have well. After growing up on city water in a mill town,(egad was it awful!) I would never drink anything else. Oh yeah-chunky or creamy pb? I've got a big 'ol jar of both

Ok, going to toot my "cool Mommy" horn (only place can do it without my daughter rolling her eyes!). So, ya'll know who the All American Rejects are - right (teen band. HUGE). Well, guess who found out about a concert in our area, got permission from my dauthters best friends mom for her to go with us, and bought tickets to the above concert. Thats right - me! Am I cool or what. And guess what - it lasted for about 1 day! But I'm milkin for all its worth my friends.

Ain't parenting grand......

Lucky! You're filling your pool & I'm running the furnace! We've been in the 80's until today- in Maine there is no doubt that Saturday if the first day of fall. Are ya up for some company?! I'll even bring a dbl. decker pbj

Hey T! Thanks for the word of advice. We're on city water so the pool guy told me to just throw the hose in. I asked for water to be delivered but he said it's dirty water and takes about a week of running it through the filter to get it clear. He said the hose takes about 24 hours and is worth the water bill.

Our pool in NC was filled by truck but we were on a well there so we didn't have any choice (and, for the record, it was dirty). This is my first time EVER living in a house that wasn't on a well so I know all too well how easy it is to burn it up!

I'm officially the meanest mom ever. I seem to earn this title a lot so I must be doing something right. My son is dying (dying) because I won't let him stay up until midnight to download the new Neverwinter Nights II tool kit the second it's released. Yeah, because it's a school night, it'd take two hours to download, then he'd whine about waiting so long so I should let him try it out and then next thing you know it's time to get ready for school. I don't know how I can be sooooo mean.
