Sounds like a plan ...
I have been thinking of joining a wine club ... not a lush  ... it's so darn hard to get good wine here without paying a mint ~ I'd like to start stocking my wine racks without going broke. Some of my fav wineries boast clubs ... any belong or tried the service? Gosh I miss the days when I could just drive a mile down the road to a local winery to pick up a resonably priced bottle of good stuff.

Wooo Hoooo, stew and wine and Silver's place tonight! :D (you'll get used to how we shamelessly invite ourselves to everything!)

Yuck! I just tossed my 'free McDonalds apple dipper' coupon.
Also just got done spending a outrageous amount at the grocery store on stew/crock pot fixings not to mention anything chocolate and a few to many bottles of CA wine ... my fav.

Scottsmom - I've had the "meatloaf dinner" (minus the shredded wheat, used bread crumbs),. But the easy, all day meatloaf and veggies is by far our favorite ;) ( page 107).

If you and the family like soup (we live on it in the winter) try the chicken tortilla soup (pg 47). This one is great! I usually bring the spicyness down by making the stewed toms reg. instead of with chilies.

Fox, keep them in a glass bowl of water with lemon juice and a pinch of cream of tarter.

I have the Fix it and Forget it book. Which meatloaf is the best-they have like 10 recipes for it?

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris
