FINALLY! Got to bbq last night, big 'ole honkin' boneless ribs with lots of dinosaur bbq sauce, slow cooked for about an hour. Mmmmm.... ring pasta salad and cornbread to go with it. Got some left overs for you all!
Menlo - congrats to you! Take a well-deserved breather.
Cotton - "you want fries with that?" Seriously though, I'm really glad you and your family are doing better. That's awful.
Tried to copy and paste a beautiful spring bouquet picture for everyone but it won't work ("rotten apple" computer). So, it's up to all of you and your wonderful, creative imaginations. What flowers should we plant? I'm for the daisies and tulips right now....

I promised the kids this weekend that after haircuts tonight we can stop in McDonalds for dinner - Dad is out of town. How the heck am I going to get Cotton's visual out of my head long enough to enjoy dinner now?!
It's a wonderful Tuesday morning here ... sun is out promising 70's, the birds are singing away and my lilacs are almost out for all to enjoy. I wish everyone a great Tuesday and don't forget to stop and smell the spring flowers along the way today!

I LOVE seeing all the names popping back in and the new ones joining the conversation. It is really intersting to develop these relationships via this board, to imagine one another and to have insight into our own motivations for doing this stuff.
Way to GO BUFFALO...and good to see you Cotton...you've put a whole new image into my mind now when I think of the Golden Arches but given my physique not wanting to RUSH overthere and THROW myself into the drivethru is a good thing. New post on the "sorry I argued sight". Started to answer but have decided tomorrow is another day....I must be getting old...

We had beautiful weekend here in ole Buffalo in the 70's which is high for April. So we got alot done in the yard still cleaning up form our nasty storm in October with trees all ove the place.
Our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was on friday and it was a huge success. One of our parents does catering and did a fabulous job she made fritatas one sausage one ham and cheese. They were so good one small pan left over so I am sharing with you all.
And being its late I will share the leftover fruti cups but mine is going into Sangria to ease the pain of working in the yard all weekend.
Oh and we took my oldest daughter to see Riverdance it was wonderful and she loved it.
I have to agree with the board got a little catty glad its getting some control over the issues.

Way to go, Menlo! Congratulations on a successful event!!!
Cottonwood, sorry to hear you and your family were so sick. And sorry about that McDonalds. At least you were in the drive-thru...
I had one of those running around days where I spent more time in the car than anywhere else. But, I got all of my errands run and it was a great "windows down, sunshiny" kind of day.
Five full weeks of school left.... Shorty is counting the days!!!!
