You may want to check out officelive.microsoft.com
You get your own website and 25 email accounts. You can use these for your officers or administration... It's a great site and it's free!!:)

What do you want your website to have on it? You might consider making it blog-style and using blogger or wordpress.

I just met with the webmaster of our school to talk about getting our PTSA Youth Leadership Team involved with updating the website. He suggested that we hold an after-shool web-design club. We are really excited-- we'll teach the youth (anone who wants to participate) to stay and learn web design and then give each of them an 'area' on the website to keep updated.

If anyone is interested in trying this contact me and let's create a Master Mind team to develop a plan and discuss some ideas. I would be happy to link your students' webpages to the National Education Network.

Register.com is a great site but there is also a site called 1&1 Internet Inc. - Web Hosting Services and Domain Name Registration . Its reliable and inexpensive with great tools to building your own site. We have several sites that we have created using it. For what you need, they have packages starting at $4.99 a month. We've been using for over 4 years now. If you have any questions or need a little help every now and then with it, just ask.

Once you have your website setup you can get it linked into the National Education Network at AmericaTakingAction.com. Just send the url to the email address and I'll make sure it gets linked in for you.

We use register.com. it's not free, but the PTO is paying for it. ($150 a year and we have our own email)

Our site is here: Menlo PTO

I'm the webmaster too so it keeps me busy. I'm a bit of a internet nerd so I like doing it.
