Those are some great ideas. I work for a promotional products company and windown clings/bumper stickers are very popular this time of year for back to school. My team and I actually just worked on a Back to School Newsletter some of you might be interested in.
Schroeder...you read my mind. We are seeing these White Oval Stickers all over town with School Initials/Names and we just ordered them from www.spirit-wear.com
Very inexpensive and will make a good fund raiser or giveaway incentive.
Last year we had car stickers made, you know those white ovals with the 3 letters for a country, like IRL or USA that you see on cars. Our school name is only three letters so it worked out perfectly. Car magnets are similar and also very popular!
What about a magnet with the important phone numbers of the school on it. For new parents, they are not familiar with the extensions of the various departments or the school's number. Our magnet looked like a ruler. it had the name of the school & PTO on it along with the main phone number of the school. We also had the extension of the absence line, school nurse, PTO mailbox and main office printed on the bottom.
We received a bunch of free stuff when we attended the Kathryn Beich Fundraising luncheon, and we plan on using the items as door prizes. We cleaned out our cabinets, and we have a bunch of items to give the kids as door prizes as well. We are making packets for our kindergarten parents.
