Thank you to everyone here for sharing the good and the bad and your excitement and the enthusiam for this life role we call parenting. It's good to know that there are so many in the world who consider being involved in your children's education an important part of being a parent. You're making the world a better place for all people with the gift of your time.
Thank you for being caring and generous parents that not only spend so much time at your own schools planning events to make hundreds, if not thousands, of children happy. But you also spend time on this site to help others make a positive difference in their schools as well.
THANK YOU for your wonderful support!

Thank you for letting me take the year off to recharge my PTO batteries. And for leaving the door wide open for me to return.
I'm anxious to meet the folks at my son's new school and look forward to helping in every way I can. Hanging around here for the past year has helped me stay in touch with the parent group community and learn more about the issues our groups are facing. The 07/08 school year is going to be the best one yet!
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same."

dlf - you are so wonderful. I wish you were a parent at my son's school.
I'd like to say thank you to everyone who listened to me whine and who gave me suggestions this year. This was a tough year for our school. Our principal was sent to another school, and due to school closings, we had 150 more students in our small school this year. Our new principal has caused a lot of grief this year, and it cost us 4 teachers (they decided to retire).
PTO Today is a great way for all of us to connect, vent, and share ideas. I'm pretty sure that my current board members (myself included) will be stepping down for the 2007-2008 school year, but it sure has been fun.
Thank you to everyone for listening to me, and have a fun and safe summer!
I'll jump in and say "thank you" also.
One of our kindergartners handed me a flower petal on Friday. He said, full of excitment, "Miss Debbie...I got this for you. Thank you for helpng me find my book in the library." Well, of course I got teary-eyed. It's those little things like that that are actually HUGE!
Another HUGE thank you to PTOToday for giving us this forum. By allowing us a place to share, ask, discover and vent, you are helping us give even more to our kids. THANK YOU!
