Yes, we have done it. See what you can get from some local nursery and what kind of deal they can give you. We have found it best to let people pre-order what they want and then have a certain pick up time. The nursery we use actually lets us take some extra on consignment too so that people that did not order can still buy them if they want. Then they let us return whatever we did not sell.

OK, so I'm on a new idea fund rasing kick at the moment, so has anyone done a plant sale...as in selling flats of plants and flowers for people to plant? (like nursery) Someone at work suggested this and it sounds like a fantastic idea. Its getting close to that time of year where the gardeners are in their glory. And what a great way to raise money for the school.
If any other PTO has done this as a fundraiser any tips would be appreciated!
