volunteer sign up sheet at open house

Having done this for the last few years - just be sure that your chairpersons are conscientous about calling back parents who signed up during open house. Soemtimes the event dosn't take place until much later in the year and the sign up sheets are forgotten! I've heard many times that "I signed up but never got a call back!".

Why don't you set up two tables. Each manned with someone knowledgable about the events. You could also have a volunteer form with all events on it, if they need to check availability. We have one, but I don't know how to show it here!

I want to set up a volunteer sign up sheet at our open house and need your ideas. We have several events that we need volunteers for. It would be ideal to have a sheet for each event and describe what would be involved in volunteering for that event, but I'm afraid if we do this we will have a traffic jam at our table and only a few parents would be able to sign up. Any ideas on how 1 sign up sheet could work for all our events.
