You might want to check with your county health inspector. He/she could tell you of any requirements they might have and maybe even some tips on serving and cleanup.
I can help you out with pricing since I've worked our concession stand many times. We sell ice pops (when it's warm out) for $.50 each, hot dogs at $1 each, Gatorade at $1.25 each, pretzels $1 each, French fries at $1 each (we fill a cup w/fries), candy is $.50-$.75 each, bags of chips are $.50 each, coffee/tea is $.50 a cup, and popcorn is $.75 a cup. As far as rules/regulations, I've never been made aware of any other than: no children allowed in concession stand (except for the 8th grade helpers), grill/deep fryer and popcorn/pretzel machines must be thoroughly cleaned before and after use. HTH!
Looking for some samples of rules and regulations for our volunteers at our concession stand. Volunteers consist of parents and kids. We have allowed our upper school kids to work our concession area and earn a percentage of sales. Last year was our first year for our boosters/concession stand (a new sports hall was built). Currently selling popcorn, pop, Gatorade, hotdogs, coffee and candy. We will be adding soft pretzels this year. Suggestions for pricing would also be helpful. Thank you!
