12 year old SS student diagnosed with Cancer. Fun Care Package Ideas?

How about joke books? My 2 boys love them. And the magic set was a good idea also. If he has to have chemo or radiation, maybe some mad lib books or some puzzle books. or even puzzles.

There's a boy at our school who has lukemia. He's such a terrific kid from a great family. The community started "Brian's Brigade" with t-shirts and everything. His dad is a fireman so the logo on the shirt and other things they've done follow that theme. His parents have an informational website updating his treatment process.

So, he's a trickster? Hmmmmm How about a magician's hat/bag filled with magic tricks? You know the cheesy kind you can find at most any toy or hobby store. They're so cheesy that they're fun! Trick cards, squirting flowers, stuff like that.

There are lots of great, creative folks posting here. You'll be blown away by the ideas that will flow in!

It's fantastic that your whole community is cheering him on. With that much love, faith and hope he's sure to make it through!

Hi! This is off topic, but I know you child professionals can help me out

There is a 12 year old boy that we are close to (in our church) who has been diagnosed with NH Lymphoma (cancer). I know he will pull through this but we would like to cheer him up and help him through the process with prayers and fun. Any ideas for a fun loving care package or cheer session?

We thought about bringing gags and fun items that he can keep the nurses busy with. He has such a fun loving sense of humor and is such a sneaky-tame kinda' guy. In other words...you'd never ever suspect him of the pranks! But he knows when to pull it in too.

As far as a cheer session goies...I'd like for all of the children to get together and do something for him..a skit, a poem..anything to make him laugh and stock him up with somethign to keep him busy for a time.

Thanks so much for any helpful ideas that you may have! This little guy deserves it. Blessings everyone! -lea
