Hey mykidsmom...
What kind of scheduling did you implement for the picture day. That is usually a very caotic day around our place and we are always looking for way to improve it.

Right now it's the little things/change in thinking that has ment more. The PTO has been given the green light by our new Exe. Dir. to open the lines of communicaton and WOW! It's been better than any gift we could have even bought!

THE coolest thing we have done was the Staff BBQ lunch the PTO put together before school started. This has never been done and was really appreciated by the staff as an ice breaker way to met new teachers etc.

Oh yeah, if you asked our teachers today they would probably tell you about the new schedual that was done for class picture day instead of just calling up everyone when we were ready. I'm telling ya, it's the little things!!

Love the Gift Wrap idea!!!!
During Teacher Appreciation week...last year we did something special for our teachers every day. Monday...Breakfast, Tuesday an apple in their mailbox with a certificate of appreciation.
Wednesday...Chair Massages...we called a local massage school and they sent 6 students to do 15 minute chair massages...they welcome the hours and all it cost was a donation to the school to cover supplies. The teachers LOVED it!
Thursday we left treats in their boxes and Friday we catered a lunch for them!

Andrea Kay,

Where did you get the throws from? That's a different idea.
Thanks.
