This sounds like something that a lot of people are going to be interested in. Why don't you sumbit this as a sample document? Here is a link to Tim's post with instructions on how to do that.

We got the idea from here to put out a start of the year pamphlet explaining everything about the PTO. We are calling it "Skyview PTO For Dummies" and I created a cover duplicating the popular series of books. I did most of it on Powerpoint, but finally ended up just copying the character on the cover from a book and using the original "cut and paste" method.

We will see if it helps in attendance at meetings. We had a 2nd board meeting after I introduced the concept, and the secretary said since the first time we met her husband actually picked up the pamphlet to read it, which she said was a first. So maybe it will catch people's attention, we will see once school starts.
