Executive Board meetings once in August, to discuss the budget, once in Sept/Oct, once in June to transition from outgoing to incoming board, and then once a month Nov - May (except December).
General membership meetings are held September through May, except December.
General meetings are Sept(back to school night, to approve the budget),January, March( to pick the nominating committee), April (elections)and June(end of the year dinner meeting)
Our elementary school holds both monthly board and membership meetings our Membership meetings are the 1st Monday of each month alternating monring and evening times each month in order to try to give everyone and opportunity to come. Attendance is always low but we are never short of volunteers. I have an endless list of people who always like to help out when they can.
During the summer months the executive board gets together maybe 2 times and in August we have a committee chair meeting that we have parents and children help stuff folders that go home with every child in school.
Our exec board meets monthly, August thru June with the principal to cover issues, news, and plan the monthly meeting. We have a general meeting every month, September thru May - June's meeting is a volunteer appreciation reception and business meeting if needed.
