Welcome letter to Parents at the beginning of the school year

22 years 7 months ago #106928 by LUVMYKIDS
I was going to send you a copy of the letter I put out at the beginning of the year, but I can't for the life of me find it on my floppy. I just introduced myself, welcomed the parents and students back to school, gave a short summary of the fundraisers and programs we do during the year and talked about some of the challenges we will be facing this year(we're under construction and will be joining with another school next year.) I kept it to one page and made sure to put my phone number and the names and phone numbers of teh rest of the board too. I also keep a bulletin board in the lobby where I post topics from the last meeting and next meeting, the budget, and updates on any events we have going. I've tried to really keep communicating to the parents, teachers, and students. I've gotten a sense that the parents feel more welcome to get involved, it was kind of an aloof organiztion in previous years. Good luck!

Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat.

Hi!! I have just been elected Pres. for the next school year, and a while back I saw a welcome letter that had been sent out to the parents but can not seem to find it now, could someone please send me the letter they used so I have some idea of where to start? Thanks!!
