funding childcare at meetings

We had our first executive board meeting with pretty much a new board. I was very pleased.

One thing the president-elect and I have been discussing since I was pres is childcare at meetings. We have plenty of parents who would support that (according to the survey). We thought we could use high school kids and Girl Scouts needing volunteer hours for their clubs, badges, etc. We would feel more comfortable with adult supervision and if we can't find someone needing volunteer hours sometimes we may have to pay them too. My question: How much do you pay your childcare givers for meetings? We are a small rural lower income school and this year our PTO funds were pretty much drained so we do not have a lot to work on until after October.
