This web site is chock FULL of wonderful ideas and resources to help you and your group. And the cool thing is, lots of the info is available without joining NPN (though I wholeheartedly endorse paying the $179 to join!)

The other source of great information on this site are the regulars who post in the forum. Pick their brains; they are full of wonderful ideas and experience!

Good luck! One last question: what's your most pressing need right now?

I am a new member of my local PTO. I have never been involved with anything like this so I have no idea where to begin. There are roughly about 6-7 members of the PTO. The other womwn had to start from scratch and have done a great job. I would love to start this project with great ideas and some knowledge of what I am doing. Can anyone help me out? I would love ideas on fundraisers, and a copy of the parent pamphlet, along with any advice and or ideas we can use to liven up our school.
