I went to my very first PTO meeting on Tuesday this week (my daughter is a Kindergartener), and got elected President! I have a lot of experience with committees, boards, group work, etc, but ZIP experience with PTOs.
Any suggestions, ideas, recommendations would be welcome. My first meeting with the new board (five members total, three of us completely new, including the principal), is next Wednesday night.
