A possible option is to go to eBay.com and obtain an older version of QuickBooks. The system suggested in the 1101-02 link content below does not need current versions.

I dont know about new software but have you tried www.needsoftware.com? They sell software (Quickbooks) at academic prices. It is cheaper. you will have to send a letter head that you are using it for the PTA and the school from your principal. They are easy to deal with. Melinda

Our PTO would like to purchase a software program to be installed on one of the MAC's at the school for our Treasurer to use. Last year the treasurer simply used her own spreadsheet program, and well this year we are having a hard time deciphering what is what. I have looked into Quicken for Mac and since I use Quicken Win for my own personal use I thought this might be the best program (I like quickbooks but the $$$ is to much for it.) Has anyone found a better program or have any insight into this software. Thank you.
