Okay, I was elected President last year and ended up taking over for the last month of school. I worked my tail off because I had not expected to take the position until after the summer. Anyway, school resumed on Monday but my disasters started last week.
I having a real difficult time bouncing back emotionally. I know its a learning curve but I'm already emotionally exhausted and we aren't even through our first week.
The sponsor I lined up for folders fouled up the print job and we had to buy plain folders at the last minute. The lunch that was supposed to be catered for the teacher inservice last friday showed up late and we ended up serving it on Monday (thank heavens it was just sandwiches).
Our principal quit on Wednesday of last week and as of yesterday we have a new interim principal...at least its for the entire year.
