I'm not exactly sure I know what you mean by a year-end fiscal report, but I'll take a stab. Since you're talking about something for year-end, I'll assume you mean that you're getting info together for your annual audit. For out PTO, we have recruited volunteer accountants for the last 2 years who have reviewed our financial records according to some guidelines I adapated from a posting here on this forum. I'll email you the document. It shows the files and info you would need to provide to your reviewer (ex: checkbook, register, monthly treasurer reports, etc.). I just put a notice in our school newsletter in May asking for a parent volunteer auditor. So far, that's worked for us. Other PTO's rely on an independent committee of members to do the audit.
