I'll email you a copy of our treasurer's report which shows both our chart of accounts and our annual budget amounts. There might be some commonality between our PTO and your Parent's Club. If you are just getting started creating a budget, you might want to check out the article on setting up a PTO budget in the August 2002 issue of PTOToday magazine. It's also available online in the magazine archive if your PTO is member of NPN. (I use Quicken for transation posting and check reconciliation.)
Can someone please copy and paste their chart of accounts so that I can start up our Parent's Club on the computer? Also, can you copy and paste your financial statements (amounts aren't necessary) for me to use as a guide?
I'm using Quickbooks Pro for our Parent's Club. What type of business is a Parent's Club group (I only know it as a non-profit organization, but Quickbooks doesn't have that as an option)?
