color-coded forms

I don't have a magic formula for collecting on bounced checks, but I do have a standard letter I send (with a copy of the check) when I get an NSF notice. I emailed it to you. We have not had a serious problem with NSF checks, maybe 5 per year and 95% of the time we collect with one letter. I also attempt to collect the $5 service fee the bank charges us.

Critter

Do you have any forms you use or suggestions when trying to collect "bad" checks. We have many written for our Fall Fundraiser and our Santa Shop. We are trying to collect them ourselves to save money from going to a collection agency. Any suggestions????????

Hi! I am the one with the color-coded forms. I will email you the file (MSWord) and anyone else who asks. I copy each type of form on different color paper for ease of use and filing. I hope you find them helpful.

Wow! I didn't realize they were now available here. Thanks Tim.
