Old President...now Vice HELP!!!!! was created by chic*mom
Hi! I am the new Pto president!
Anyways ...Our President from last year was very negative, and we ended up with only about 4 members attending meetings & doing all the work. She resigned at the end of the year because her husband had a job transfer and I was nominated. His new job fell through before the election (so she was not moving)and she decided we should co-chair, at the meeting no one went for that (they were all sick of her negative stuff) So she ran for Vice the lady running against her dropped out, (she didn't want to run against her, they were neighbors) So now she's my vice. She is a nice person, and does a lot for the school, the problem is she is already trying to run things her way, setting up fundraisers, calling people etc..
and I'm afraid
1# of people thinking it's the same old negative stuff and not attending/helping
#2 Of her taking over! What can I do, No one wants to stand up to her face! But all the other officers are upset about her taking over/attitude!HELP!
