The only thing that I see is missing is "Family Fun" coordinator. Do you have a monthly family event? Or is your mother/daughter, etc considered your family event? We have things like Bingo Night, Karoake, and I want to do a craft night! You could also do Parent Educational programs (Discipline, etc.)
Funny you should ask now - we have an exec committee meeting tonight and I was just inputting the updates this afternoon - here goes:

We have a page for each one that lists the committee name, description, type (service, fundraiser, event) and responsibilities along with blank lines for chairperson and committee members. Could send them to you by email if you like.
Lets see...
*Fundraising committee
then a chair for each fundraiser
*Nomination and/or election committee
*Event committee with a chair that reports to the PTO about each event
These are some basic committees. Our group really only has a few but this is s start.
You may even want to have a committee formed for the By-law writting process as I can tell from experience thirty people writing by-laws makes for a LONG evening as verses a committee of five!
Hi there, I'm the President of our PTO and have been for the past THREE years (no one wants the job!). This summer the Board is going to establish by-laws, and do some re-organizing. One of the things I need is an idea of different committees that others have at their schools. I know we'll have a Fair Committee, and other committees that will run annual events, but I could used suggestions on any others that PTO's in other places might be using. Thanks a million!
