A one person PTO?

A one person PTO? was created by lenojen
Our PTO(if you can call it that) consists of 1 person - the President. A meeting was called by the superintendant (along with the predident) to see if anyone was interested in the PTO Last year. A good number of people showed up but nothing definate was set (no one appointed etc.) We organized a committe for a cookbook sale we are having - but as far as anything else - nothing. Just tonight we had a meeting, that wasn't initialized by the president - in fact none of the meetings are - it seems as though she is not interested in help and has no intentions of letting anyone in on her "territory". Does anyone have any suggestions or had a similar problem they were able to work out? Thanks!
