plw - does that mean that in order for the two teachers we honored with a lifetime membership last year need to pay the membership fee this year in order to vote on anything this year? That just doesn't seem right to me.

Actually the lifetime membership is an honorary thing. If they want voting privelages in a unit or at conventions they need to be a current paying member somewhere. We have given several life time memberhships and the people receiving them are always quite honored!

Does anyone out there know if PTA Lifetime Members get new membership cards every year? I don't think so, but we're not sure.
