This is were your principal (hopefully) can help or advise the board on how to handle these messy little things. We had the same problem with a group of parents and the school's board of directors stepped in after they ambushed the principal before, during, and after our PTO meeting. Our principal has a legal team she deals with and was able to advise us, document, and in one case- yes, report the parent to the police (an exchange of words went WAY to far one night! A parent was ordered to attend anger management classes!) Remember to not take it personal and may the force be with you!
Can anybody tell me where they find out if what they want to do is legal? We have a few negative parents that are aggressive and always looking for us to do wrong. They have requested a membership list and we do not wish to give it to them. We feel membership list is for voting purposes and do not want members being harrassed to do things and don't want nonmembers harrassed to join. Help!!!!!!!
