You mention Quickbooks -- is that what the former treasurer had been using? We've heard of other groups who use it. We offer Finance Manager, which is easy-to-use software you can use to create a budget, do basic reporting and bank reconciliation. . Here's the link:

You could also download the Treasurer's Toolkit, which includes additional resources beyond what's posted on the File Exchange. That costs $49.
