Traditionally, groups do financial updates at monthly meetings as part of a treasurer's report. Groups often do a newsletter on a monthly basis to correspond with the monthly meeting. But, groups increasingly use Facebook, Twitter and emails to keep parents in touch with things on a weekly or even daily basis.
I'm wondering if and how frequently other PTO/PTAs notify parents/teachers of the account balance in either newsletters or meeting minutes? Our PTO has not done this historically.
