I know this is an old thread, and I'm not sure if you're still following it. We periodically have surplus budget, and I've been considering a grant-mechanism whereby teachers can apply for additional $$ for their classrooms and/or projects.
I am currently writing up a min-grant process for our newly formed PTO and I have a bit of writer's block when it comes to formalizing the selection process. We already have any application now it's just down to how do you determine who gets a yes, and who gets a no. Is anyone willing to share how their PTO/PTA selects who will be awarded grant funds?
