Not sure if this goes under this section, but here goes.
I am the new president this year, but I have been on the board since it was birthed less than 4 years ago. We have done really well each year establishing new events & programs.
This year with things moving smoothly, our board (after seeing problems arise this year & in the past) is hoping to develop some policies such as code of conduct, chain of command, who to go to for common yearly isssues.
How & where do we start? Are there any good websites to look at?
I thought of asking our teacher reps to start by writing up how they would like to be approached by a parent. And asking the same from our principal & vice principal.
