Yes, I have done that but it still does not come up correctly. I keep getting an error message. I don't believe the orgsites is uploading the pdf correctly. The pdf was created with printmaster pro, has anyone worked with them in addition to orgsites?

I use orgsites as well.

This is what I've done.

Go to Page manager on your edit page.

Click Files Library.

Upload the .pdf file there.

Then go to the page that you want to edit. When the text box opens up there is a spot where it says GET FILE CODE (it's under the Save Changes button). It will pull up a box with all of your files. The .pdf file you uploaded will be there. Copy and paste that code onto the page you are editing.

This is what my HTML code looks like for our Box Top newsletter
<b><a href=boxtopsep07.pdf target=_blank>September newsletter</a></b>

The "September newsletter" part is what contains the link, when it is clicked the .pdf file opens up right on the screen.

I wrote this quickly, so I hope it makes sense. Let me know if you need more help.

Everyone's used to the FREE Acrobat viewer allows you to view PDF files.

But where they make their money is on the commerical product, Adobe Acrobat. Typically, to able to manipulate PDF files (save as PDF, edit PDF, save PDF as something else) you need to have the full blown (paid for)version of Acrobat.

Usually a file starts as something else (often Word) and is saved as PDF to prevent others from editing it and to assure consistent formatting and printing.

Do you have the orginal file in another format, such as Word? Or maybe there are 3rd party tools that others know about. But, note, once you save it in HTML, it's going to look very different.

We have our website through orgsites.com So far I really like, very easy to use. However I am trying to get our boxtop collection sheet on as another page and I can't convert the pdf. file to html so that orgsites will accept it? I've tried saving the file in another format but my computer will only let me save it as a pdf. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?? Thanks!
