Sounds like you are looking for more of mascot theme-oriented slogan. We went more frrom the functional/service aspect and used a black & white clipart of a schoolhouse and under that the words.
"Help us help the school!"
Of course, our name appeared elsewhere in bigger letters. I don't know that it officially was our "slogan" but the graphic was used on all our documents - letters, t-shirt order forms, announcements, etc.
