Our school has a special needs preschool. Last week they held a garage sale fundraiser and raised over $1000 to purchase supplies for the preschool. They have asked us to hold the money for them until they are ready to purchase the supplies. They would donate the money to the PTO, then we would buy the stuff when ready. The reason they are asking this is because last year when they gave the money to school, it has taken forever to get back when they wanted to purchase something. Just wondering if you all think this is okay to do? Any legal issues we should consider?
