Our booster club wants to purchase a trailer to haul team equipment. We are having a hard time getting insurance. The insurance companies seem to have 2 issues:
1) The trailer exceeds the size/weight limits for the liability to follow the towing vehicle and
2) There will be different people pulling the trailer
The trailer will be 18' long. I find it hard to believe that there are no other organizations around the country that own trailers. Our BC will hold title to the trailer. Anyone else own a trailer, and if so, how are you handling your insurance issues?
