Make the donation along with a brief business letter stating exactly how the funds should be used.
You have no control over what happens with the $$$, but your obligation is finished. If the dollars are mismanaged, it's the princpial's problem, not your PTO's.
If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>
AT OUR PTO WE ARE STARTING A FUND FOR KIDS WHO NEED A SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR LUNCH OR FIELD TRIPS. THIS WOULD NEED TO BE HANDLED BY THE PRINCIPAL BECAUSE SHE IS THERE EVERY DAY AND KNOWS WHAT KID NEEDS WHAT. MY QUESTION IS WHAT KIND OF PAPER WORK SHOULD SHE FILL OUT TO MAKE SURE THE MONEY IS GOING TO THE RIGHT PLACE, NOT THAT WE DON`T TRUST HER BUT WE LIKE TO HAVE PAPERWORK TO BACK UP EVERYTHING. DOES ANY ONE DO THIS OR IS THERE A BETTER WAY? THANK YOU
