Thank you both, that made me feel better. I didn't think I did anything wrong but it did make me wonder for a short bit. I think I finally have our PTO moving in the right direction with some good parents that seem to understand what you just said "pals"

Dwiant-sorry to hear of your troubles. I think sometimes things get so out of perspective and that all of us as volunteers need to realize that we all have different personalities, backgrounds, home lifes, children, careers, etc...we are all different and we get together for one reason, for that reason we need to put differences aside and if someone has a problem with that then maybe they are doing it for the wrong reason?

no need to defend yourself to them, you have done nothing wrong, its they that should explain why theryr afraid of their actions being made public.
sounds like they know, that what htey did, and cuased you to seek advice, was not quite above board.
when posting on here about a problem with a fellow pto member. I have posted on here in the past, seeking advice on how to handle things. And it was printed off and used against me at a board meeting. Accusing me of gossiping. I arguged my case, that I was seeking advice not gossiping. I just wanted to give fellow pto members a heads up. I felt really betrayed that this person would log on here to use it against me. This is a place for us all to seek advice. I am grateful I have found this cause you all have been very helpful to me and getting our pto going in the right direction.
