We currently run after school Enrichment clubs and they have grown from 2 to 3 clubs to over 15 clubs. The accounting for these clubs has gotten increasing complicated. To compound matters we are overhauling our Financial/Treasurer's procedures due to the increased volume of money we handle every year (around $50,000). My question is: How do other schools with after school clubs handle the financial aspect in relation to Check Request Forms? Do you have Petty Cash for supplies? What backup documentation do you require in the financial files for paying teachers and club instructors? We just need some guidance.
