Ok..Our PTO has had alot of ups and downs over this past year. So our principal decided it would be best to take a summer off and be "disband" until we resume next fall. And we all agree that's fine. But my question is, is that is it ok to continue to spend PTO funds? without the PTO in full swing? We have not had a meeting since April, so there is no voting or real discussion on things. And I understand some things may need to be purchased, like smaller priced things but I just cannot see the real rush to spend major money on items without the PTO having an actual meeting for discussions on it. Should these items wait or can the former board purchase them? It is a strange situation. And really we are trying to get on the right track so I don't want to make a big deal but right now, we still have no by laws so we can't use that as a guide. It is just weird. Please, any advice is welcome!
