hey guys, i know i can get some good advice from yunz. so here it goes. as you all know our organization got some "quirks", i got the committee list started for next year.
alot of our problems started with the lack of communication, which i'm addressing. one of the biggest complaints from the new moms were that when they walked into committee meetings, the committee chair would have everything already planned for the activity. which lead to the feeling of "why am i even here to help plan?" well, this group of moms that started planning everything before the meeting, is now signing up to chair almost all of our committees.
i don't want this to go on any longer, the feeling of "my input doesn't matter" because the new people are dropping like flies. i've been able to talk some people into coming back, but alot of them are still gun shy.
how do i try to make these moms understand that we need to change the way, we as an organization, approach the committee meetings so that everbody feels valued?
