Worse. Our charter school has control over our funds now but when we formed the school our funding was to only be held in a school district bank and we had to have approval on expeditures over $100,000 9if I remember correctly). Just a few years ago, our funds were finally allowed to be put into a bankof the school's choice after our accounts could not find thousands of dollars....hundreds of thousands. With that resolved THEN the nickle and diming began! Oh you need a cop of that record....that'll be $$$ don't worry we'll bill ya! OH MY!
At the end ouf yesterday (no really) we are now a state charter school instead of district and our money will no longer be seen by the district at all. And in information at School Board meetings we now get to see how much cheaper simple everyday things like the school data base will be! It's truely a Donald Trump world!
Our school controls it's own money. The only time we pay into a district fund is when we are trying to get a district wide message out. Such as during a bond election when we wanted everyone to vote yes so we could secure the funds to build new schools. Even then it was under $100 per PTO.
