Board president quitting

Hey boarder:

RE: insurance. You'd have to check your policy or check with your broker. With our insurance partner -- www.ptotoday.com/insurance -- the policies cover all officers/members, as opposed to named officers/members. So you'd be fine.

But other carriers differ.

Hello, I stepped down this year from my president position last year to give some new blood a chance. It has been a hard year and the new president has taken on all of the responsibilities. She is pregnant and due in April and has decided to quit putting her family first. I don't blame her, I know how hard it is.

The dilema is that I am being asked to come back and fill her shoes for the remainder of the year. I'm happy to help out but I have two quesitons:

1. Has anyone experienced this before?
2. I'm not currently covered by their insurance and we have a big carnival coming up. How do I get coverage in the middle of the year or is it tied to the title and not the name?

Your help is always appreciated.
