PTOPlus--The first year we had it, we didn't have enough money as a group to pay for it, so I paid for it out of my pocket. My opinion was that it was a bargain at twice the price.
PTOManager--We're using both components now (volunteer and finance). For next year, if they are concerned about price, I've already told the group that I will donate the money to pay for it to keep it in place, and I won't even have kids at that school.
So, I guess you could say that I feel pretty strongly that they are worth the money.
We paid this year. So far, we like the volunteer capabilities but are just getting into it. IF we truly utilize it then it will be worth it, but like everything else it takes time to make it worth it.
