Hi Lisa -
I know that you know this, but -- ugh! That's exactly the kind of attitude that will keep parents away in droves. We've got to reach out to as many parents as we can in as many ways as we can.
"If they're schedules/priorities aren't exactly like mine, then they can'yt play!" Not exactly the message that works when it comes to involvement.
I was just going to do a summary of what has been spent and recieved. This way parents who can't make it to the meeting will know where the money is going. Our treasurer says that if they don't come to the meeting, then they shouldn't get to know. I know people can't make it to our meetings and I want to make sure they have as much information as possible. That is why I designed the website.
I was wanting to put our expenses and finances on our PTO website. The treasurer doesn't want to because she doesn't trust the internet. I explained that noone can get to our money because I won't have any info regarding our account number on it. Does anyone else put their information on their website?
