Jog-A-Thon, Jog-A-Thon,Jog-A-Thon!!!
did I mention Jog-A-Thon?

The students get pledges, and run laps during their gym class.

We just finished ours, I think we've done it for 5-8 years now. about 75%to 80% of the students brought in pledges this year.

This year we have received pledges for over $12,200. and the envelopes keep trickling in.

Our expences were maybe $1,200, which were not up front, we used a credit card. That price includes T-shirts for all 400+/-students, which we did have partial sponsorship of, pencils with our school name, custom ribbons for students, and prizes for most pledges etc. we got I-Pods and DVD players donated for that.

we love it

Butterbean - I know you posted back in February about this "turkey feather" fundraising. I mentioned it to my principal and she loved the idea. I was hoping you might be able to post the poem you said your treasurer had come up with. Turkey time is right around the corner.

thanks!!

I'll have to get it from our treasurer but as soon as I can I'll get to it . I spend most of my days up at the school. You know how it is.
