I know it's early in the year, but I'm already thinking of how nominations work. In the past we have had notes go home to PTA Members to vote and nominate people for positions on the Board. Last year I came in contact with so many members, after the fact, that didn't fill it out because they didn't know who to vote for. I don't have a copoy of the by-laws yet but my question to you all is this.
Are you allowed to put on the nomination ballots, the names of people interested in a certain position so that the parents can vote for them if they wanted to? Otherwise how are people supposed to know that I am interested in a position, other than me going around telling them and/or feeling like I'm begging for votes?
