Love the rubber band idea! How are you attaching the rubberband to the card?

Thanks Tina. That's a good idea too. I don't think we'll be changing our usual way of tickets until next year so we have plenty of time to talk about what will work best for us. Jessica

For our carnival we used a punch card instead of tickets...for the same reasons mentioned above. Little kids juggling tickets, tickets lost, etc. We made punch cards similar to business cards containing 10, 20, 50 punches. Each booth had so many punches per game. We attached a rubber band to the corner and the kids could put them around their wrist. We got so many compliments about this. If they pre-ordered meal and drink tickets, these were stapled to the card. We'll definitely be using this idea again next year.

Well, I guess you'd have to find a bracelet that was not easily removed without damaging it. Or possibly a hand stamp would work? I think the hand stamp would be super efficient (less cost).

Here's what I'm proposing for us to do next year. Offer a hand stamp, that allows kids to play unlimited number of games, with the stamp we pass out a punch card that gets punched each time a child wins the games. With a full redemption card the child can get the highest value redemption prize. But once they get the redemption card full, they cannot get any more prizes, but they can play the games until the carnival ends.

I think this would work great at our school. We'd still offer some tickets for those who didn't want to buy the hand stamps.

Just a thought. What's to keep the children from "sharing" the bracelets? I have 4 children. I could easily just buy one bracelet for all 4. Wouldn't be right but we all know there are those who have no conscience.

Wow, $6 that's pretty cheap. And is that for unlimited games. I definately think "back to the ends of the line" is a must.

So you must give out prizes at each game. We do redemtion center, where kids "save up" their redemption tickets and then turn them in for prizes. I think if we did unlimited games then we would just limit the number of prizes kids could get at redemption.

I definately think the bracelets would work well, but we have a few other issues to work out yet. Hopefully we can get it going next year. BTW, where do you get your bracelets from?

Thanks, Jess
